Thank You For Loving Me

Today is the 30th anniversary of my marriage to my beautiful bride Jonell. 

Two scared kids coming together, to form a household, and create a family. 

We had no idea what life had planned for us, but we were determined that together, there was nothing we couldn't face. 

Today, with my Locked in Syndrome, struggling to get approved for Social Security Disability and wondering if we will have a way to get our needed supplies each week, now all we can do, is cling to each other for support, and pray that things will work out for us. 

I'm sharing with you my letter that I wrote to my wife for this day. 

Jonell, 

I'm writing this because I am unable to get you a card or a gift. Our anniversary is especially hard for me, because I want so much to wrap my arms around you.

 You are a wonderful woman, and I am a lucky man. 

All I have to give to you, are my words. 

You have given me three amazing children and a lifetime of great memories. 

I often will go to one of those memories, in times when I am feeling down. I don't know that I can tell you enough, what a wonderful woman and wife that you are. I want the world to know how gorgeous you are, but I'm afraid to tell anyone, for fear someone may try to steal you away. 

But if you are as committed to me as I am to you, I know that would never happen. We have our disagreements and our spats, just like any couple does, but we always work through them, because our love is strong. In fact, I would go so far to say, that it is stronger than ever. 

You are my driving force each day when I wake, and I am a believer in the words, IF YOU CAN SEE IT, YOU CAN ACHIEVE IT. 

Your faith in me since this has all happened, makes me want to move mountains! When I stumble and fall, you are always right there to pick me up. 

When things go wrong with my BLOG, your always right there, to comfort and inspire me. There would be no BLOG, were it not for your encouragement. 

Thank you for all that you do for me, and all that you sacrifice on my behalf.

Most of all, thank you for saying yes when I asked you to marry me. 

I don't think that another 30 is out of the question. 

But I hope that when my journey ends, that God takes me first.

I do not want to live in a world, without you in it!

In the beginning

Imagine if you will it's almost bedtime, and you start to think about all the things you need to get done tomorrow. Of course, there's work, tomorrow I need to be there at one. And then, the car is due for an oil change, if I leave early for work, I should be able to get it done in time and you still have to get registered with some other companies for AEP (Insurance Term), it's just around the corner. I'll have time to do that during my lunch break. Then you told your son you'd swing by his place to take a look at his jeep, it's making a strange noise. You can leave even earlier for work, that hopefully won't take too long. Sound familiar? Although the list of things to be done will be different, it's what each of us goes through almost every night. Planning a day so full that we don't leave ourselves much wiggle room. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

  Now comes the time that we celebrate one year of the Bedheadbob BLOG.  Well actually, the one year anniversary won't be the one year anniversary, it isn't until this Saturday, April 8th, so you still have time to get me that red Corvette I've always wanted.  On a serious note though, it is a special moment for me, as I celebrate not only the accomplishment of what I consider to be one of the crowning accomplishments of my life, but also the bond I feel with each of you, although we've never met, at least most of us.  Which brings me to the topic of this week's BLOG...
