The Beat Goes on!

 Our staff here at Bedhead Bob is recovering from COVID. That's right, I'm sorry to say that Celia contracted a case of covid and has had a difficult time. I'm going to ask that you keep her in your prayers if you're so inclined. 

This BLOG will go on. We may be a few days late when posting, but we will push through this. Just as I'm sure most of you have had to push through a difficult situation. Life is full of potholes. We find ourselves cruising along smoothly, then hit one of those potholes, and BAM! We are thrown off course! It's all we can do to maintain control. 

Yet we do maintain control. We have people that depend on us and we find a way. And very often the way is at our own sacrifice. We sacrifice sleep, we sacrifice food, we sacrifice anything lest we be looked upon as weak. 

A shout-out is in order to my wife Jonell and little girl, Lydia. I was a bit under the weather this past weekend, and truth be told, I'm still fighting whatever this is. 

At one point I threw up at least a dozen times. And let me tell you the weekend is not the time to get sick. Everyone is off and you are kind of left to fend for yourself. Throw in a couple of power outages, and you have the recipe for an unpleasant adventure! I am only starting to recover. 

So we are struggling but we will overcome. There is a sense of obligation when it comes to this BLOG. Sometimes I don't feel like writing, but I do. I do for you, and I do for me. I know it is me I will ultimately disappoint if I don't follow through. Your lives will go on just fine, but I will have to live with the failure, and thought of what could have been. I hope my writings make some small difference to you, they have made a huge difference to me.

In the beginning

Imagine if you will it's almost bedtime, and you start to think about all the things you need to get done tomorrow. Of course, there's work, tomorrow I need to be there at one. And then, the car is due for an oil change, if I leave early for work, I should be able to get it done in time and you still have to get registered with some other companies for AEP (Insurance Term), it's just around the corner. I'll have time to do that during my lunch break. Then you told your son you'd swing by his place to take a look at his jeep, it's making a strange noise. You can leave even earlier for work, that hopefully won't take too long. Sound familiar? Although the list of things to be done will be different, it's what each of us goes through almost every night. Planning a day so full that we don't leave ourselves much wiggle room. HAPPY ANNIVERSARY

  Now comes the time that we celebrate one year of the Bedheadbob BLOG.  Well actually, the one year anniversary won't be the one year anniversary, it isn't until this Saturday, April 8th, so you still have time to get me that red Corvette I've always wanted.  On a serious note though, it is a special moment for me, as I celebrate not only the accomplishment of what I consider to be one of the crowning accomplishments of my life, but also the bond I feel with each of you, although we've never met, at least most of us.  Which brings me to the topic of this week's BLOG...
